I just wanted to praise God that His Word came through on every news media even without their knowledge -- President Reagan always referred to what he desired for America was to be a shining city on a hill -- The verses he quoted (without stating them as verses) came from Matthew 5:14-16 -- God's Word never comes back empty or void -- Last week God's Word was heard by the entire world and his adopted son confirmed Who was the power behind President Reagan
I encourage everyone to use the opportunities placed before each of us to point to the cross of Jesus -- Every time those words were uttered by news media I responded by giving the text they came from -- Nothing else needed to be said
And I've begun to pray that my words be His Words without feeling the need to quote everything and explain everything away -- We spend so much time explaining that we don't know how to live -- God doesn't need my help as much as He desires my obedience
