Jesus said to love thy neighbor and to love thine enemy. Even if you consider democrats your enemy (I don't), you should show them love. HE opposed war-even against the Roman occupiers. HE gave to the poor. HE had no possessions other than the clothes on his back. HE healed the sick. HE treated people with love--even if they were a thief or prostitute.

I am just so upset with this story. What kind of man kicks people out of a church. This is what is happening in america since George Bush started talking up Jesus all the time. It starts as something good and nice, and then the born again christians turn it into something evil that Jesus himself would never do. We must not allow this power to get out of hand.

If this pastor really ousted John Kerry supporters from his church, then I can't support that, but I can easily see how there may be a mis-understanding, or worse yet, "church politics" involved. I know in a Baptist church, he didn't act alone, even if the stories are true. I wish this pastor, with the help of his attorneys, would tell his side of the story. This is getting national attention, but we are getting only one side of the story.
